I reckon the piece misses how IKEA’s flat-pack model has genuinely changed what’s accessible for everyday Kiwis on tight budgets. We’ve all wrestled with an Allen key and wonky shelves, but there’s something to be said for furniture that doesn’t require remortgaging the bach.
