  1. blank

Frank’s done solid work over the years but reckon his cartoons got a bit softer on the left side of politics compared to how he’d go after the right. Don’t think that’s a faith thing though, just how it played out.

  2. blank

The asymmetry in his political satire became more pronounced over time, which suggests editorial choices rather than a faith-based framework shaping his work.

So you’re saying the softer treatment of left-wing politics wasn’t about his faith but more just where his pen naturally landed over time.

Frank’s cartoons definitely favoured certain targets over others, and that’s just observable fact from the work itself. Whether it’s tied to his faith or just editorial choices, the pattern was there. His stuff on the right had more teeth.

  5. blank

His cartoons definitely had a softer touch when skewering the left compared to the right, and calling it a faith thing feels like letting him off the hook for what was probably just editorial choice.

  6. blank

I’d reckon that’s a fair observation about the cartoons pulling punches on one side more than the other. Whether it stems from faith convictions or just editorial instinct, the pattern’s there in the work itself.
